Jazz Bass Mania!

Yeah, that '76 has some serious funk going for it

Here's my '68 Goya (similar family to the Aria above), my current re-hab bass

boy! KSD is going to love that post! :D
No kidding!!! :D

It's a KSD Proto J

Not a Sadowsky or Lull, but still a damn fine bass. I"m really diggin' it.

The other is a MIJ '62 stack knob RI with matching HS. It's got a weird pedigree, supposedly a custom shop job. However there is no Japan Custom Shop.

That 5-er is beautiful! Me wants one too! Do you have a pic of the whole thing?
My fivestringer is not actually a Jazz-type, but hey, here it is!

It was given to me as a present for my 30th birthday this winter, by a bunch of musicians I've been playing with for the last ten years...

I don't have a full shot, but these three together pretty much do it...................

And here's a shot of a different one from the KSD site (it has black knobs though):

I'm really impressed by these, and I got it for a steal.

Yeah, it looks great!!! Can you get one for me too? Link to the manufacturer?
Can you remove the pickguard, or have they made a grove for the neck pickup wiring under the pickguard? (that's the case with my fretless, otherwise I would have removed the pickguard on that one too...) And personally, i like it better when the output is placed on the metal plate, together with the knobs, but that's really a minor detail...
