The opening track "The Sun Myth" is a feature for Ronnie Boykins playing arco. I played the ESP/ZYX reissue CD. I love the cover art!
Listening to a Bandcamp prerelease of recordings from Anthony Braxton's 1985 English tour.
Technical minutiae:
The recordings were made by Graham Lock (doh) from the audience and cleaned up for release. The sound is distant but clean, the DB isn't high enough in the mix and drums are boxy, typical of such recordings. It's complete sets (two per city) plus some soundchecks on standards
The ten sets alone add up to 6 hours of music. Digital files only, release is next week. It's also available as five separate albums, one from each city, if after auditioning you want only one or two. One set from each night is available for listening free (compressed format). Liner notes and photos included in download. Downloads in any or all of MP3, FLAC, ALAC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, WAV and AIFF formats and/or stream your purchase. You can make as many downloads as you like forever. Bandcamp artists get 80% of the purchase price and the buyer can add a tip if so inclined (I usually do).

@brianrost your mention of the Braxton record reminded me of this fine album which I just put on. I got to see a live performance of it which was great.

Haven't posted to this thread in a while, but picked this up today, for an easy $10 and it sounds glorious. This is one of the great things about vinyl, this doesn't appear to have been put online yet and if it did, it wouldn't sound like this.

Listening to this for the last couple days. I love the hook up between Ben Street and Billy. What a great band.
