Let's try something, not sure if it will catch on, but let's see. I'd be interested in knowing what jazz you were all listening to at various times.
I'll post for a while and invite others to do the same and if it fizzles out, it wasn't meant to be, but maybe it won't.
Let's keep it to jazz, if someone wants to start classical, bluegrass, rock-a-billy threads, that might be cool to.
The Poll Winners
Barney Kessel, Ray Brown, Shelly Mann
Contemporary Records/Stereo (first pressing)
Creek Stereo, Epos Speakers, Rega turntable
Someone asked for guitar trio recommendations last year and I looked for that thread a bit, because THIS. Contemporary Records had a great house sound. Slightly different than Blue Note, but equal to it in warmth and clarity. Ray is being Ray here and with guitar instead of heavy handed piano, it's a great reference.

- What are you listening to?
- What format?
- On what equipment?
- Whatever else you feel is relevant - Personnel, Label, etc.
