Okay, this is not a thread/poll to ask which is better or worse. It is simply to see what you guys prefer, the Jazz or P bass. Your choice doesn't have to be Fender; it may be a Lakland Bob Glaub P bass or a Sadowsky Metro Jazz (for ex).
I'm having a feeling the Jazz will win but I myself am a P bass guy.
What about you guys? Feel free to post anything about either one: pics, stories, likes n' dislikes, brands, models, ect.
EDIT: I meant this to be a poll just to see what more people prefer assuming you could only have one. I didn't want to add the P/J option; just straight up J or P.
Why add a carrots option? I'd assume at one point or another all bass players have played both even if they don't own one now. Pretend someone gave you money to go out and buy a standard Jazz or Precision; which would you buy?
