jazz p'ups for scooped tone?

got myself a MIM jazz that i feel lacking in the slap tone i dig. i know i'll never get the Marcus tone but i'd love a decent slap tone on it and the factory pickups dont do the best job. any suggestions? im on a budget so dont blurt out $350 jazz p'up sets or anything!
(id also prefer passive and can pop right into my MIM Jazz without any issues)

DiMarzio Ultra Jazz are scooped. Check the classifieds, there's usually set floating around for under $100.
