Double Bass Jazz Stands

y0. I am 15, I listen to jazz, among other things. I haven't played much double bass, even tough I have borrowd one from someone I know. I played some gigs
Do someone got any good ideas for jazz songs I can learn. Not too easy, not too hard

Hey Holy, You can look here at jazzstandards.com for a list of the all time most popular jazz songs. There are also links and suggestions for recordings that have those songs. These are songs from the "American Popular Song Book," as it is called. you should also learn some basic jazz tunes like: Blues in F and Bb, Rhythm Changes in Bb, So What, All Blues, Blue Bossa, Cantaloupe Island, Footprints, Doxy, etc.

Once you listen to some jazz recordings, you will start to here certain songs that you want to learn.

There are tons of them, and it makes it more interesting than playing along with a metronome. If you pick the right book you'll even get to play along with John Goldsby, who (as I recall) did some of the Aebersold books. (BTW, he's a world class player and happens to be the guy who gave you the reply above...)

The range of difficulty varies so you want to make sure you don't pick something too hard to begin with. You might apply John's suggestions above to book selection.
