I've got flats on all my basses at all time - only a matter of time before my Jazz becomes number 1 again! Just put a fat Warmoth P-neck on it and an Audere preamp. Don't call it a comeback...

Glad to see this thread brought back to life. What tone settings do you guys frequent with flats? Soloing the neck pup seems like the natural place for me. Bridge pickup solo'd with flats sounds kind of weird to me, at least with my Squier VM jazz
For me, it is usually both pickups on full with the tone up full. When I do solo a pick up it is usually the the neck with the tone backed off a tiny bit (click play in my sig to hear that). Though, as of yesterday I'm trying the new Ernie ball Cobalt strings out on the jazz.
