JC Basses 5 String Semi-Hollow

First coat of tung oil has been applied. It turned out a lot darker than I had expected, but that seems to always be the case with the first coat.

Nice coloring to that black walnut. It will be real sweet with more coats.

I can't wait! I'm salivating at the mouth like a dog staring at the Thanksgiving Turkey, fresh out'a the oven! This'll really help me keep that low end down!

I'm really liking the look after the first coat! Nice and dark with a beautiful grain.

I had that same idea Jared is really easy to work with excellent craftsmanship etc I am very excited about my new bass. Tomorrow I am sending him the stuff for my spalted maple 5 string

It would just be cool to have something designed for you that costs the same as a nice Fender Custom Shop.

I kind of like JC's headstock, also.

Sweet!! I was worried that your house was too close to that wild fire that was up in Auburn several weeks ago since you haven't been posting on here much. Glad to see that things seem to be just fine.

Yes I do put a little pad under the bass so it doesn't get scratched. No fires for me, just a lot of work. Real work, not bass building.
