jensen mod 32 ohm 10 for svt . opinions needed please !

I read the whole thread, mine didn't have guitar speakers I don't know where he got that, guitar speakers wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes with that amp, you could see the speakers moving in and out at least an inch
Even modern sub speakers like the 3015LF don't move that much. I trust the opinion of a recognized expert who was designing speakers himself in 1969. His avatar isn't Yoda for no reason. But still, the CTS driver specs are like the weather, everyone complains about not being able to find them but no one does anything about it. Someone who has them should get them measured, it's not all that hard to do.

well multiple speakers will in most cases will move more than a single. the way it is wired up and designed it's 8 10 inch speaker acting as one- to be quicker than/but as powerful as a 18" sub

reading this tread I learned a lot. My guess from what I've read(not a fact) these speakers were stock guitar baskets with more powerful Magnets. and tuned like a PA speaker. bill said they were guitar speakers- but I think they just took what they had and modified. As they got bigger and more R&D the Switched to deeper speakers.
