this makes me die inside. i want that 6er so bad
  6. That new six of yours is absolutely stunning, both front and back. I know I've said it before, but the smoky color combination in that burl is the nicest I've ever seen, and it really sets off that beautiful maple board.
  7. Okay, here's my Jerzy again on All Hallows Eve: It was delivered one year ago today! We need to keep this thread bumped 'cause I wanna see more JDs, so post em if ya got em.

  8. My wife took this pic of Yves Carbonne and his fretless Legend XII at last year's NAMM show. Amazing tone and beautiful playing with flawless intonation, and that bass is surprisingly lightweight.

All of these basses are unholy abominations and should be sent to me for proper disposal!

(make sure you pack them well)
  10. Debased: That Legend is seriously one of the best looking JD's around. Gotta love it!

I know there are several Drozd owners here, so let's show those beauties off!
  11. Man Oh Man you guys have some beautiful Basses. Thats an outstanding collection you have Carver, and I find myself looking longer and longer at the frettless VI Debased has. Please tell me how it handles and sounds.

Anyway I want to post some new pictures of my Excellency VI and join this club and I really hope to see a lot more Jerzy Drozd basses getting posted.

  12. Here's a couple more just for fun.

Count me in, as I recently joined the club as well. Its in the shop right now getting an Audere preamp installed in lieu of the obp3:

I really need to get some more recent pics. Maybe a family pic as well.
  14. Please excuse my stupidity but how are you all posting full photos and not thumbnails?
    What am I missing?

Thanks! What pre is in yours?
  18. Bart Pups & Pre.
  19. Hey arbitrary.

Sorry about my last post last night or should I say earlier this morning, but it was late and I was fading fast. Any way my bass has the Bart pre and pups. I like the sound they produce in this bass as well as if not more than the quality of tone and sound I get from my MTD635-24 and my Roscoe SKB 3006. Each bass has a Varied but wide range of tonal possibiltys that is unique to themselves. The tone of this bass is substantially broader to my ears. I would definately like to try out a Jerzy Drozd Prodigy LE VII Frettless with the Jerzy pups and the current pre he uses.

What Pre is in your bass and how do you like it? Tone wise, what other bass would you compare it to or it even comparable?

    They are beautiful aren't they?

  20. Anyone have any recordings of your Jerzy Drozd? If you have them you should post the link to them for the enjoyment of us all. I will be posting some soon.
