John Deacon's PBass tone?

Not to particpate in a troll thread... but according to Geoff Emerick in his autobiography of recording the Beatles, McCartney spent hours in the studio after everyone had gone home working out his bass lines by himself, so I don't think that Sir George had that much of a hand in it - especially after Revolver.

Not a troll, really just something that occured to me. Interesting info about hanging in the studio without the others.

You should check out Millionaire's Waltz in terms of basslines as well. On the original the bass is isolated on the left channel I beleive, certainly at the beginning of the song it is. There are some fantastic flourishes shown off that are well worth checking out. A lot of the early stuff is really good, there are a couple of tracks on ANATO that are worth checking out, some of the more unassuming tunes like Good Company has some nice little licks and tricks, which are quite subtle and can go unnoticed but if you listen for them they're quite nice. Also Radio Ga Ga was recorded on the Elite 1 I beleive, or atleast that has been the conjecture on other websites/JB information pages etc.
