joining a band ?

I have this thing called "21 Suggestions for Success" taped up on my wall. Part of #19 reads:

"When you look back on your life you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the ones you did."

That just seems to make a lot of sense to me.

[edit]PS, I have given this pretty much thought lately: never ever say something 'ok guys, but I'm pretty much a beginner and I don't play so good..' - it just gives them the impression that you suck before they even get to hear you. Afterwards, if they are like 'dude, you suck!', you can explain it to them why.

i need to start saying that too. maybe then someone can tell me why i DO suck so bad.

Hell yes, Join the band. That's why we spend all those hours practicing scales and arpeggios and spending all our cash on gear and endlessly searching for "the" tone. Hell yes, join the band
