thanks guys. I'm pretty sure it's 29 frets. We are shooting for C# - Ab tuning, if the .006 gives us problems we'll go for a C - G tuning. The claw is almost done.

It looks interesting. Can I ask why you have a new bass made every couple of months? It seems like a bit of overkill, IMHO. It's like when I see somebody with a collection of Ricks or a bunch of Conklins.

I guess I just don't see the point of spending tens of thousands of dollars on very similar instruments.

I think it's because each basses are different!
Different woods, different luthiers (so different construction and so on....)

More over and the most important IMHO, life is made for us to have pleasure and made us pleasures! So, if he wants a lot of basses, why not?

He will answer better than me...

I wonder if maybe the bridge pickup shouldnt have been angled. It seems like the bridge is going to be close to the pickup, giving a kinda thin sounding high end. I hope thats not the case of course.

Jean specified non angled pickups. and I dont think there will be any problem.
