Chris said this when I asked the other day. Apparently DHL is on strike Strike at Deutsche Post: Verdi Calls for Action at Parcel Centers

Oh…..More from FB, he's currently building the next lot of the pre-orders.
He's going to make more Bass Jives in the future - but only after the pre-order backlog is out of the door.
There's a new internal dip-switch setting for new Jives and the Bass Jives that enable 'always on' saturation with the foot-switch activating the drive circuit.
Seems like he is alluding to creating something that will replace the Jive. Also seems like he is getting frustrated by people claiming the Jive is just a ripoff of the sho.And now he's said he's no longer making the regular Jives.
Ah yes, I've just seen the marketing email about it. I'm waiting on an order for a regular Jive so I guess it'll be one of the last ones.Seems like he is alluding to creating something that will replace the Jive. I'm betting the regular Jive is getting an update. My prediction - soft switch, buffer, possibly 3-way switches with maybe more options than just clipping diodes. Oh and I bet it gets the "always on" internal switch like the Bass Jive. And now he's said he's no longer making the regular Jives.
I got the impression that these latest regular Jives will get the alway-on option, but I'll see when it arrives. Maybe he's some insights and ideas from designing the Bass version that he's thinking of bringing in to a replacement for the regular one?I'm betting the regular Jive is getting an update. The photo on their Facebook page shows the internal switch for the Bass version, not for the regular Jive. All of the updates I've mentioned are what Bass Jive has. I also forgot to mention that regular Jive inverts the phase, Bass Jive won't. That's also an update I bet regular Jive gets as well.I got the impression that these latest regular Jives will get the alway-on option, but I'll see when it arrives. Ah OK - I've just reread the comments - I had got the wrong impression. The photo on their Facebook page shows the internal switch for the Bass version, not for the regular Jive. That's interesting that it won't invert the phase. One of the reasons the original Jive sounds big imo. Will be interesting to hear the bass jive and the always on feature is great, but that sounds like it will be very different to the normal jive in sound. Time will tell. The photo on their Facebook page shows the internal switch for the Bass version, not for the regular Jive. All of the updates I've mentioned are what Bass Jive has. Inverting the phase is not an issue nor is it audible (we can't hear polarity, we hear the same sound either way) unless you're splitting the signal/blending your dry signal with it. For single signal path it will make no difference. That's interesting that it won't invert the phase. One of the reasons the original Jive sounds big imo. Just got a text from USPS that mine has processed through Germany. Getting more excited.
Everyone planning to run this at 18v?
I hope this is a shaging Joke?!
When a pedal says it´s 9 Volt only. You DONT´T feed it with 18 Volts.
I hope it´s a joke.
Thats one of the reasons the company has a bad reputation with "faulty" units.
When the users are too stupid to read and fry the pedals.
I hope it´s a joke.
