Good to hear that Susan is making a bag. I forgot about MCM. They have some nice cases at reasonable prices.

My approach for searching for a temporary bag was searching for LP bags, since vinyl LP's are 12" in size. I found some pretty good results. The bag needs to hold about 50 LP's in order for the m700 to fit.

Disclaimer: I have not purchased the magma bag yet to verify that it will fit.

Yeah I want the custom bag too but who knows when that will come. Many gigs going on right now and I really don't want to transport it in the box. So just looking for a temporary alternative.

I had a Studio Slip made by Susan a few years ago for a Puma 112 Combo and in my opinion it doesn't seem to be very well padded>While it fits fine it seem that the padding inside is not very sturdy .Dont know if there are different level of padding and stiffness to Studio slip but feel if I would get one for my DC and M700 it would definitely need to be more protective and stiffen up over the cover I had made?

Here is another temporary cheap alternative that will hold both mo and the m700. I would add some padding to the bag as well. Since I handle my own equipment, I'm never really that concerned about my gear getting damaged.

Got to watch/hear/enjoy two very different cabinets at NAMM. Roger Baer was very kind and loaned (at the last minute) my friend Darryl Anders a couple of if his single 12" cabinets for the Dunlop Booth. I got to enjoy several of my bass idols play into this combination. :hyper: Roger is a great guy to work with.

Chris Cardone of Kalium Strings brought two of his Green Boy Cabs to his booth. We got to run both of them (4 ohms and then 2 ohms) for days of reality changing sound. More amazing artists including Jinmo (from Tokyo).

Then there were of course the good people of DarkGlass Electronics who worked with me to include Monique with their beautiful creations. These are two of the nicest guys in the business of working to please their customers. I am very proud of these guys too. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

In all the loud, wacky world sound of NAMM, there was something about the clarity and definition of these combinations that made the M700 cut through all of it very nicely.

My legs and feet are still very worn out, but it was sure fun.

Yes. There is a single and a double padding that Susan does.

So I purchased the Magma LP bag I mentioned in a previous post and it fits the m700 like a glove. It even has a compartment for cables as well. Very nice.

So I have to be honest here. When I first tried the M700 at home I wasn't sure. I felt I liked the sound of the Minnie slightly better.

Fast forward to tonight. At a gig in a nice sized room and turned on the M700. I have to say I couldn't be more wrong. When comparing both amps here the M700 wins hands down. The detail and clarity is phenomenal and I love the roundness to the notes as well. Definitely more air on top and it slams big time.

My keyboard kicks ass through this setup as well. I am hearing clarity and low end to my patches that I have not heard before. I am stoked. Jule you're a genius! Wow!

So here is pure perfection for me! Oh and I put my Minnie back in my gig bag!
