Second session in the 300 year old Barn with different guitarist. Worked fabulously. Monique dialed to cleanest is just amazing and will still grind if you fingerpick hard chords. It's funny how easy it is to play quieter in a loud mix with excellent ear protection. These people are the reason I had casts done of my ears for custom protection. I had the audiologist leave the connecting cord between them so they are hard to lose. I value my hearing and having no hiss all day the next day.
To their credit these folks turned down.
Monique can do the most sixties P-bass through a Fender tone, short of using a Tardis! In fact it's better because there is no anemic taper of the lows and highs. So imagine that old school sound with today's extended sub bass and extended clear smooth tubey highs.
