Just a blend knob

Hey, gonna have two pickups in my bass and I want the controls to be very simple so I was thinking, would just a blend knob work? No vol, no tone, etc.

I'd suggest a push/pull pot where pulling out your blend knob is a kill switch. That way you can turn the bass "off" when you need to.

Push-pull blend knobs are hard to come by.
If you don't need volume or tone, there is no reason to have them aboard.

Even if you dont normally use the tone control its useful for brand new strings becore they loose theyre initial brand new crispness. Volume control can be scrapped in favor of a blend control if desired but you lose the ability to make little changes in drive tone without it when desired. Removing all the pots normally results in brighter sounding bass or guitar. Which can be undesireable.

You can fix that by adding a resistor parallel to the output.
