Just a curious question. What picks do you use?

Each thickness is a different color and they come in a cool lil tin.

I just bought a 3 diff thickness sampler pack of these. Sounds like I'm using my fingers more than a pick! Even the thickest one (black) is quite flexible, which doesn't bother me as I only occasionally reach for one that's completely rigid

Nope, see my post... they aren't what I'm looking for.
I use them sometimes for my Tacoma ABG.

Exclusively a pick player for 40+ yrs (Bass VI, you know).
After scores of trials, settled on these...
sort of an oversized jazz pick - no noise, great control.

Dunlop Tortex Purple. I was using Ultex for a while, but they were too bright. I like that brightness on guitar. Not so much on bass.

I mainly use pick, going back to my roots after some years where fingers were my preferred picking method.

Just like the sound of picking with a pick much better than when using my fingers.

My favorite is the grey Dunlop USA Nylon 0.73mm

I got a few of the rubber Wedgies and gave them a quick try. So far I don't think I like them on bass but am sure they will find a use on some of my other stringed instruments.

I have been using the yellow colored Gravity pick (except not as pointy). What a chunky tone.

Exclusively a pick player... these have great control, no weird pick noise, and they last well enough.

I play these too! Mostly because they're what the one guitarist plays and he always has a supply with him. When I forget or lose my pick I can always bum one from him!

I use the blue 1.0 Tortex, and I end up scratching them up with a razor so that they're a little bit more grippy. I've noticed that I end up playing a lot like Scott Ian after having watched his SW rig run down video.
