Nice grab Mark. Make sure you come and chat with us over at the EB forums. All your Bongo questions can be answered thrice over, and we would welcome your presence. I have owned the HH and the H myself, but haven't had much experience with the HS models. I personally have settled on the Single H Model for my sound. Its hard to go wrong with any of the options though.

My HS fiver is blue pearl (not carbon) but try an abalone guard on that thing.

Congratulations! Curious as to your thoughts on the pickup configuration...I'm just now getting my brain wrapped around the single coil options.

  10. Congrats on the new bass!
I'm digging that color as well.

Any EBMM dealer can order them for you.

There are also a number of after-market guys....the factory guards are usually a bit more expensive but hey, they always fit.

I've been wishing for one for a while now...too many other basses in front of it right now...but one day when the price is right I'll grab one too.

I'd love to hear a good in depth review from you...

I really like the looks of that Carbon...nicest looking Bongo I've seen yet.

Yeah, that's a beaut, Mark! I'll talk with the guys and see when you can bring it over. And, maybe leave it for a few days! ;)
