Just bought a Bongo

Speaking of look of this bass. For me it's one of the most ugly and villageous looking bass ever made.

With all the Bongo threads in here, I know there's got to be a good
picture that shows the piezo pickup. But if it's there, I haven't been able to find it. An HH with piezo is gonna be my next bass, after I get my Rick fix.
I'm a little fuzzy on the piezo pup though, I'm assuming it would sit right in front of the bridge? Just before the saddles?

I think this is the closest a bongo has made it to my neck of the woods. Congrats Mark!! I hope you enjoy!!
hey guys, what bass do you all think would be better: the bongo, os the s.u.b? im really thinking about getting one or the other and im not sure which one to get. han you guys with more experience help me out?
Awesome!! I may just do that! I got a P bass Ill probably flip soon and may just have to get me one If that one sounds as good as Ive heard they sound.
Tommy Shepard had one in his shop a few weeks ago. Used, going for 9 bills. Never heard one, but as fugly as they are, they sure do feel nice! I wanna hear yours before Aragorn does!

Well i dont have an actual "Geddy" anymore Phil I traded it for an 83' P bass. But my white ho dog geddy is super awesome!! Ive started jamming with some guys this week and took it over and it sounded great in the mix. Hehe Ive also gotten some really interesting offers for it because I guess people think its an actual white 72 jazz.

The close-up pic I posted above of the teal pearl bongo w/abalone guard also shows the piezo bridge.

The bridge on the Bongo IS the piezo pickup - the only difference you will see is that the saddles are more square than on the non-piezo Bongo. As hippiesandwich mentioned, the picture a few posts up shows the bridge and piezo saddles pretty well. If you are looking for a separate pickup - give up - it's not implemented that way.
