Our thoughts? Get down your butt and wirte for us a review and comprare it to the SWR 750x.
I m trying to sell my SWR so i can get Ashdown, so i ll be waitin for that review and maybe some photos of your rig if u got.

The amp I sold was the older, pre-Fender, version.

Thats the head I use! In fact, I am gigging tonight with the mighty Ashdown ABM500 EVO rackmount head with my Bergantino HT322. That combination of amp and cab makes for some sweet Juju!

Ok then compare it to that also ... Its almost the same amp with the same sound anyway. Just want to hear the differences from the SWR sound.

Also if anyone knows the answer to this please ansewr it here: Is the SubHarmonic (ashdown octave) and Subwave (SWR octave) a very similar effect?

i hated that effect on my SWR Mo'Bass head!But combined with other effects added some weird things, especialy with a filter/wah wah pedal. On its own its was... kind of dirty thing... maybe its usefull for classic rockers or something. Oh well..
I might go for the AL series after all.

Cool glad I could help you out. I was actually considering the Ashdown, but ultimately I wanted a cleaner sounding amp for my Warwick 6 string.

I already have the tube dirty thing with my Mesa 400+
