LMAO, yeah thats what the headstock with its string retainer thingy for the D&G string made me think of. Though a few of those where actually very good iinstruments even though they had rather odd looking things about them like that string retainer thing that makes it look like the strings are done wrong on it even though theyre not. Lol.

Woah! I had one of these in white maaaaaaannnnnnnyyyyyyy years ago....
hey meatwad, I still have my matched pair of early 90's Bently's before they stopped selling guitars. as you can see even with the different headstock, the bass is still a p/JJ:
I look at all these pointy knockoffs or name brand and always wonder why, why people string the tuners backwards to make the strings come off the nut less angled like this Kramer I bought before I restrung it correctly:
I have had pointys for years and never had to do that. I even have a Kahlerized pointy with wonky string angles off the nut and never had an tuning issue divebombing it all the time...
and that string retainer in the OP? that's just not factory.
the string tree is supposed to handle the break angle off the nut and pull the strings down not fix the angle of the strings side to side...
