...and I have to say, I like it a lot. Haven't played one since the early 90's but this one became available as part of a convoluted swap deal so thought why the hell not? The neck isn't as ungainly as I was fearing (recently played a Thumb 5, what were they thinking?) and I am delighted with the tone, it's something else. I really have nothing that sounds quite like it so I can justify it to the missus too I think this one is a keeper
Gloss finishes used to be a stock option, IIRC. Very nice,Doc! I also like Warwick 4s but not 5s or 6s.
But how is one to play in tune otherwise? The fella said he ordered it with the gloss finish and had to wait a few months to get it. Beyond that, I haven't a clue about the details. It's different from yer average Warwick, I like that.
nice in the next 5-6 months i hopfully wil be getting a streamer jazzman. debating to get a fretless or not, and yes thumb 5s and 6s are awkward as hell to play i played one a at LIMS
Congrats Dr J, I've been following the progress of that bass with great interest for the last few months on fastfude, glad the guy managed to find a nice home for it!
Beautiful bass, congratulations. I got a Streamer StageII and really love it. It`s one of my fav basses and "the" Warwick I always wished to own. Enjoy it.
