...and I have to say, I like it a lot. Haven't played one since the early 90's but this one became available as part of a convoluted swap deal so thought why the hell not?

The neck isn't as ungainly as I was fearing (recently played a Thumb 5, what were they thinking?) and I am delighted with the tone, it's something else. I really have nothing that sounds quite like it so I can justify it to the missus too :bag:

I think this one is a keeper :)

Omg, gloss finished Warwick but not Custom Shop?

    How?! Where?!

  4. Gloss finishes used to be a stock option, IIRC. Very nice,Doc! I also like Warwick 4s but not 5s or 6s.

But how is one to play in tune otherwise? :p

The fella said he ordered it with the gloss finish and had to wait a few months to get it. Beyond that, I haven't a clue about the details. It's different from yer average Warwick, I like that.

    Beautiful bass, congratulations.
I got a Streamer StageII and really love it. It`s one of my fav basses and "the" Warwick I always wished to own.

    Enjoy it.

Yeah, can't believe it didn't sell before I eventually crumbled and went for it.
