It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

I just got my 1st ever Sadowsky NYC. All I can say is wow....this is used but like new. Plays like butter. I believe the hype now. By far the nicest bass I have ever owned. Slaps like a dream I can already pull off some double thumb runs I can't do on my other basses. Taking it to rehersal tonight to give her a full work out, I expect great things.

Low light pics for now, maybe I will take more this weekend in daylight. She is a sexy beast though. After getting the pickups and string height adjusted properly she really cut through at rehearsal. Gets a fairly good P-type tone out of the neck. With both pups on and slapped she sounds like what I would consider the perfect slap tone, never brittle, just right. Still getting used to her but I can see what everyone is talking about with these: just a great bass that needs nothing. Check out the pitch black ebony board, matching headstock-none blacker than that. That's right it's a clear pickguard-looks cool, I may have a black one made though. Sounds fantastic through my Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and old a** Hartke 8x10, can't wait to try it through the Uber 2x12. It may be time to sell my other basses, play this one and look for a Metro for backup. Oh yeah but the Peavy Fury bass I had back in 1990 was better......if only I could get that one back.
