Cool amp. If it's packed well, no worries. My 400PS was shipped halfway across the country. I shipped a Mesa Tremoverb 2X12 combo from US to Hungary. No problems. If it wasn't packed well..I recall opening a box of broken glass, bent metal, and wooden splinters.

Shear bass bliss. Paired with my upgraded Ampeg V4 cab (with Emenience Basslite s2012s), it is just gorgeous (and LOUD! )

Sadly the V4B is a little wider than the Jack12. So I may end up putting it on its side next to the cab.

Not sure how much wider the V4B is than the Jack12, but you might consider building a top baffle for the V4B and Jack12. I saw someone do that for a PF-50T on top of an SVT210AV, and it ended up looking pretty good. They just made a pad with feet for the svt210 and then feet cups to fit the PF-50T.

End of the day, though, once you play through it, you likely wont care about a little overhang.

I was considering building a head stand similar to those vintage Vox amp trolleys.

Which would have an added benefit of isolating the head from vibrations of the cab.

If it doesn't fit on a cab, I just stick my old very wide V4B on the floor. It doesn't bother me having it there, I'm not much of a knob turner. Same goes with the SVT.

Mine came from CME to Pittsburgh. It'll be fine. Enjoy it. Crank the master and use the gain as volume like the SVT-VR, or crank gain and use master to get the tubey goodness at a reasonable level.
