I have to thank Bob Gollihur for helping me in a pinch last week. For the first time, our church had a little chamber orchestra to play for a Christmas Eve mass. The strings had to be miked. Although I have standard pickups for my bass (Fishmans & Bass Max), I never had a mike. After several weeks of bumbling around by our sound engineer, I reached out to Bob last week for help and received quickly the K&K Microphone set (with the preamp) on time (in fact, several days ahead) of our mass. So, thanks to Bob for reacting quickly. The mike, BTW, worked extremely well. The preamp went straight into the board. We have a great sound system; our church is circular in shape and we have 5 speaker cabinets hanging from the ceiling, each with tweeters, mid-range and and two 12-inch speakers. Sometimes I could hear the bass (I bowed 95% of the time) and the sound engineer said it sounded great.
