K-Switch Mod for G&L L2000

I'd like to mod my L2000 so it has the K-switch but I'm having trouble finding a wiring diagram for this even in TB.

Ideally I'd have Inner and Outer coils selectable, but I'd be happy with just the Inner coils I suppose. I don't have a Sweetspot bass at the moment so it would be nice to get something close to that, however having a J sound as an option would be cool too.

I'm just not sure how that works with the pickup selector, I understand how to do it with one 4 conductor pickup. Any leads are appreciated!

Dont expect the inner coils on the g&l to sound like a stingray. I have g&l l2500 and have ditched the humbucking mode by modding series/parallel switch to inner/outer single coil switch. Inner neck pu coil soloed sounds like a great snarly single coil p bass, both outer coils do quite convincing j thing while having characteristic MFD depth/grit to it. Both inner coils have a sound of its own, like some legendary bass that should have been invented. Heaps of balls, punch and depth, best setting if you play b string a lot. If you are not willing to set on compromise you can ditch one toggle switch and install 4 position rotary instead so you can have series/parallel/single coil inner/outer

Yeah, I'd prefer all 4. I'm just not sure how to wire that up.

The regular G&L series/parallel switch is a 4-pole double-throw switch (which has a total of 12 solder points), which means it is able to make 4 seperate switching connections at once (2 for each pickup, or essentially one for each coil if you want to think of it that way). Common switches like the one here are only capable of taking the place of a 2-pole double throw switch, which are ideal for two coils only (or two pickups in relation to each other- like a Telecaster).
There are some more complicated rotary switches out there that might be able to do this task though...

Ok, thanks for very informative post. Im aware there are such rotary switches but they are either too large to fit the control cavity or too expensive, or both.
