About a week to Europe.

Based on the specs and pictures, it looks like a direct ubass copy with a fin-shaped sound hole. Still not under $250, and the nut looks to be cheap plastic. The superior nut on the exotic mahogany ubass makes it worth another $85, in my opinion.
Nothing's really wrong with the rumbler for $350, but there's no back hatch which makes string installation a huge pain in the keister.
I don't understand how a nut can be worth $85? I often get given my nut blanks, if not then it costs about £2
Unfortunately I can't afford a U-Bass. I'd absolutely love one, they play and sound great, but as a student I just don't have the money.
Do you really want a fretted U-Bass? I wonder why there is no fretless Rumbler.

My Kala Ubass is blowing everyone's mind at dress rehearsal tonight
Got my first (fretless solid mahogany) U-Bass last week, haven't touched a 'normal' bass since, picked up my percision yesterday and to my surprise I could hardly play it for the first 5 minutes. The strings were way too thin and the frets were clanking like crazy...love the U-Bass for at home, now I practise a lot more since I don't have to break out the amp and bass and cables!
Have any of you played it with a felt pick?
