I’m soon having a Kawai F2B bass that’s missing the original pickups. Anyone know what’s inside the originals? I know they are active so no use measuring DC. Coil configuration, magnet type, anything? I’m going to cast the covers with pu casting resin. I’m hoping to get a dead pickup with the bass so some kind of surgery may be needed to find out the guts.
