Keeley Bassist owners, any luck with tapping?

How does the adaptive attack/release time magic work for you when tapping?

Long tapping sections often require a slow attack and a very fast release, fine tuning that with something like the MXR M87 makes a huge difference to my sound.

The Bassist seems to be doing something entirely different that I can't quite put my finger on even after reading the dB -> ms values listed on the website. It's almost cleaner and more consistent without the compression. I wish I had another compressor handy to compare. What's your experience?

Woah no Keeley tappers here? That's unexpected.

In any case, I'll likely switch to the Pro Compressor now that Keeley's are on sale everywhere for BF. I secretly want a Cali76 CB, and it's combined attack/release knob would probably work for my needs? I don't know, that's a lot of money for trial & error.
