I am excited to announce that I received an endorsement with Keeley Electronics today. I currently use the Seafoam Plus Chorus & Caverns Reverb/Delay. I will be getting the Bass Compressor and Synth1 pedals to complete my pedalboard. Thank You Robert Keeley!

I bought the Keeley super-phat mod on reverb for my guitar rig the other day and of course tried it out on bass.

It is a nice overdrive on bass, but does seem to suck the bottom end out of the signal a bit (probably by design). Enabling the phat switch seemed to boost at 100hz, which is low end on a guitar but didn't help the low-low end of a bass (40-60hz). I think it would sound greatwith a P-bass if you are going for that mid-driven sound tho.

it sounds awesome on guitar tho - great for a initial overdrive pedal that really sparks any distortion/OD further down the signal chain.

Any other Keeley OD pedals work for bass?

I got the Synth-1 (demo is dripping tomorrow since it’s release day) I’ve had the Caverns, only reason I sold it was because on trials mode the delay was repeating audibly when bypassed, it was super quiet but enough for me to hear it and to be able to use it.

I currently have the super bass as well which is the Bassist I guess. Pretty good comp actually.
