Keep it simple, stupid!

Simple? Pbass, stripped of electronics ((pickups wired to jack)), and flats. Simple.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with Pergo that shows its edges a little too much :)
:D Yeah, that was my "old" house. Unfortunately, now i'd kill for that kitchen floor. Got some pretty awful linoleum(sp?) goin' on in my recently acquired new-to-me home:hmm: If i'd quit spending money on basses and such, i'd have some prettier floors..... but i'd much rather have a Lakland than Pergo:smug:

I have 5 basses, but none of them are very fancy, expensive, or come with lots of extra knobs or features [P, J, Epi T-bird, T-40, Peavey Fury I (first version similar to T-20)]. I don't use bass effects and am uninterested in slapping and popping, etc.

So I'd say that's relatively "simple."

J bass (with a S1 switch - when on is just like a P bass) nothing better.
I really like my Mike Dirnt P/Tele bass. Tele look, P bass pickup, and i put on a Jazz neck (still with the Tele headstock) AND had the body contour installed. Flat wounds. It is a great buddy to the Jazz.
