Ok, just a strange observation (and keep in mind that I'm on record as a HUGE fan of Ken's work and Jean's video themes) but whenever I look at the pics of the bass on it's side (as in playing position) the inlay looks like some goofy looking Knight or something running towards the bridge...

In the vertical shots it looks absolutely fantastic tho...

Talked to Ken and this one is just about there - aiming for 3 - 4 more weeks. He's finishing the bridge up and getting the finish on then it's electronics and set-up.

This is quite easily the most anticipation I've ever felt for someone else's bass. I can't wait to see it. I'm a huge fan of Ken's work and this one tops them all.

wow .. what can you say besides ... AWESOME BASS Jean ! ...

Ken's work is absolutely flawless .. my chamberbass is one of the sexiest basses alive .. built by a man who is a really strong player in his own right, Ken knows what they should play like .. and .. his basses melt in your hands.

Not only does Ken create fine fine instruments but he is one of the nicest all around guys going, unassuming and always willing to listen and work with you.

I can't possibly provide a stronger reference for anyone .. enjoy that monster! That is just killah!

Just wanna say that is an awesome bass! I spent many a quarter on Joust back in the 80's. Hey, maybe you could do a Defender bass!

Your playing in the video linked to in this thread is just incredibly amazing. Wow, just wow.
