Ken Lawrence "Joust" 11-string

somehow fodera + 11 + fanned just doesn't add up for me.

thanks again for all the comments/compliments guys! I'll make sure to post some finished pics as soon as I get it. I haven't seen any progress shots since the pictures at the beginning of this thread.

The h. claw should also be finished in october (for real this time).

Okay, I've read through all the other posts now, and I just have to add that this bass is really something special, Jean. I agree that many ERB's end up with a really whacked sense of proportion, but this bass, and your Conklins (love that Signature model!) really do have great esthetic qualities. I also cannot wait to see the finished product! Of course, hearing you play it will be even more impressive, I am sure!

Just curious, but Jean, have you and Stew ever done any shows together? Man, I'd really love to hear the two of you ripping together on a complex classical piece!

Take care, Tom.

someone mention my name? :p

it would definitely be great to play with the mighty Mr. Baudin, but I need to replace my gear and head back into the woodshed. on the lighter side, there's a pretty good chance I may be relocating to California...

at the very least I'm hoping to make it to NAMM this January. with any luck we'll be able to do some brainstorming in the midst of catching up and doing the hang.

definietly a cool thought!

Stew
