Ken Lawrence "Joust" 11-string

What really scares me are your hands Jean. You make this monster(the best kind, of course) of a bass look like a 6 string. I'm sure Ken Lawrence has a lot to do with that as well. I'm not a fan of the designs of most extreme ERB's but yours always look great for some reason(especially that new Conklin).

I'm loving how my customs are confusing you guys. The Hideous Claw is the "free" instrument.

Thanks for all the compliments... they all go to Ken. This thing is simply perfect. As for playabilitiy, it plays (and sounds) like a dream. I have to kill the strings a bit as I'm not a "new strings" kind of guy. I'm sure they'll be dead by this afternoon. Funny, I'm not having so much a problem with the 2 extra strings... the inlay is disorientating me more. I have to think "bushy tail" = 12th fret, "Tip of Lance" = 7th Fret, "Helmet" = 10th fret etc. hahaha. I think in a few days I'll have it all figured out.

That "LED" next to the controls, is actually a purpleheart pushbutton. It turns the fiberoptics on/off.

OMG. The bar has been raised.......... ;) Congrats on the new bass, get some recordings up as soon as you can. :)
