One question though:
Where did you get the strings? It's the first time I've seen a low F# string that isn't tapered or exposed core. That's what I'd want if (or when) I'll get a nine string...

Funny, I'm not having so much a problem with the 2 extra strings... the inlay is disorientating me more. I have to think "bushy tail" = 12th fret, "Tip of Lance" = 7th Fret, "Helmet" = 10th fret etc. hahaha.

Nope - Ken makes some guitars as well. Mostly Explorers, starting with the one he made for James Hefield (of Metallica).

And James' second one:

He's made a bunch of Explorers for other people too, following the 1st that James had him make.
