Ken Smith slick rounds for medium scale

Any ideas out there for a replacement for Ken Smith slick rounds for a medium scale 5 string bass? I've used them for years on long scale Alembic and Modulus basses, but just bought a 32" scale, and Ken Smith doesn't make a shorter version of the slick rounds. Tried putting the long scale strings on, and the B string snapped before I got much tension on it.

I can't help with your query, but I'm just here to say that Smith Slick Rounds on a Modulus or an Alembic sound like absolute heaven to me!
Good luck with the search.

Addendum: I may be mistaken, but aren't all Smith strings rebadged from GHS or some other manuafacturer?

Ken Smith strings are in fact made by GHS, but to Ken Smith's specs. The Slick Rounds are the same Alloy 52 half-round/groundwound as the GHS Brite Flats with a few minor spec differences. Unfortunately, neither is offered in a 5-string set in "medium scale".
