Yep, very sad. My wife and I both grew up listening to Kenny Rogers. So many of our childhood musicians are passing on.

I remember that story, funny as h***!!!
Don't know if it's a joke that got spun into a "I met someone famous story" or if it really happened, but it's funny as h***!!! It would be even funnier if it's something that happened once to Kenny and then he realized it's something he could regularly do to random people just for laughs.

His music has been in my life since I was a child, always loved me some Kenny tunes.

Ruby is a great song. I was explaining to my kids that there was a brief period where he was one of the top performers in the world. A super talent. RIP.
