Kick Ass Hard Shell Cases For Dirt Cheap!

I really like the SKB cases until you break off the first button. They are useless from then on. I have 3 of them on my road used basses. They pretty much only lasted about 6 or 8 months until the first button/foot broke off. Then you cannot set the case on it's edge.

That was the case with my Fender Molded case that came with my Jazz Bass plus back in '94... Once the first foot fell off, the rest of them went shortly after that.


I was just wondering what others thought about them, cause the store that I work at carries them, but I haven't seen one leave the store yet... plus, all I use currently is gig bags.

Have you triedacting on the "Lifetime Warranty"?

I had a special requirement to get a case long enough for
my Peavey Cirrus, which is 35" scale and longer than most bases. I found that TKL had dimensions online. This was important because most cases would not hold my Cirrus.

I could not find comparable dimension information for other case manufacturers. I found the best price for my TKL case online at Amazon, but they were just a front for a discount distributor. $64 + $12 shipping, no tax (I'm in California).

Bottom line, be sure of the length before you buy online.

Well my G&L L-2500 is only a 34" scale but as you can see from the pics on page 1 on this post, there is a good amount of room to spare up top, so you should be good to go with the Warwick RockCase that I got.

for a Fender Molded case? Really? didn't know that there was a Lifetime Warranty.

I am looking for a case for my new Lakland any suggestions? I was looking at those coffin cases, I was woundering will my lakland fit.

The bass that is currently in my coffin case is a Yamaha BB series wich I beleive has a wider body than the Lakland. Nice snug fit.
