Kick Back with In Ear

Hello everybody!

I am playing in a Rock/ Hard Rock three-piece.
Bass and guitar are amplified with L6/19" and monitored with wedges and ears only.
(guitar: wedges / BG: ears / drums: headfones)

All that works out really fine and the way we want it, except one problem for me as the bass player:

I Need some f***ing* pressure from my bass tone!
We as a band dont want anything like the Ampeg8x10-tanks or such, as we are working on a very reduced, as calm as possible stage sound.

So as an Idea:
What about a so called Kick-Back?
Does anybody around here have any experiences with that?
A high end solution is very welcome, as products from EBS or EDEN and such.

Most important is that i only need the acoustics "underneath" the Signal that comes from my in-ears. Thís isnt about maximum volume or extreme sub-bass freak outs. I am looking for a good shaped, well placed tone that hits me where it needs to be - and possible no one no where else!

So:
Who has experiences with that kind of Situation or that kind of products?

I'd say a Greenboy Fearless F115. Pretty much perfect for exactly that. As well as in a standing position, like a "normal" cab.

Maybe the F112 would suit you better, to get your oomph. Same thing, but in a smaller and not quite as loud package. Searching for either cab here should bring up a bunch of threads.

I'd recommend checking out the Authorized Builder's websites listed on the front page. Then joining the forum & poke around there.

Ask anyone that owns a TC Electronic BG250. It isn't a kick back, but everyone on stage can hear you. Can keep up with a moderate half stack and a moderate drummer and you will still be asked to turn down. I turn the bass knob up past 5 and it is too woofy for stage.

May be you are looking something like a "bass shaker" [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] you could make a platform to stand on with that. That would allow you to "feel" your bass without flooding the room.

Since we don't play extremely loud, we just use a couple floor monitors and I run direct out of the amp into the board.
