First of all, if any of you aren't a parent yourself, you can just quit blaming parents only for these problems. You don't know what you are talking about.
It is also the parents job to provide for their kids with food, shelter, clothings, etc. Nowadays, this usually means both parents are working full-time, both driving an hour each way to get to these jobs. Have any of you tried to find a job that pays the bills where you can only have to work during the hours you kids are in school. Highly unlikely. What about during the summer? Daycares usually only take kids up to 12 years old. How are you supposed to monitor you kid all day while at work? Meantime, your kids are being bombarded by their friends and media, and you expect us to be able to counter against this during the few hours a day where we are home. And don't forget, we are supposed to also squeeze in working out and preparing healthy meals during these few hours also, to combat the obesity problem which causes all of our health insurance premiums to go up.
