Kill Bill Vol. 2

Kill Bill vol 1 is great. The action is of course great, but I think what really captured me is just the stylish elements. This movie is just so uber-cool that it is on knife's edge of being lame. Most of the music is a bit unexpected when it first cues but always dead on with the mood being portrayed. The Cinematography is unorthadox, but again dead on for the mood. The anime scene was some of the best animation I've seen. Plus the movie is just so darn witty. Almost everytime some one is sliced with a blade, I have to laugh at the ludacris (sp?) amount and method of blood spillage. I can't wait to see volume 2.

Btw the trumpet song is titled "Green Hornet" if you'd like to rip it or what have you. The soundtrack is awesome.

i saw vol. 1 last night, and i'm still not sure what i thought of it. i enjoyed watching it, but i found that nothing of the movie was very memorable. except the japanese surf rock band, that was cool. am i the only one that found it to be like a b-movie be hailed as genious because of the directors name on it? i'm going to see II tonight so we'll see.

You know, if you aren't a fan of Tarentino's work, I doubt you would like this movie. Although I am not sure on the spelling of his name, I consider him a great director, and I love every movie he ever put out. Here are my favoritesin no part. order.

1.Reservoir Dogs
2.Kill Bill vol.1
3.Pulp fiction... argh getting cut off. I shall finish this post later.

Saw Kill Bill vol 2 and I was impressed. Quentin has excelled in creating an excellent action film.

Though, some parts were to long but the action makes up for it.

A must see.

Stay till the end of the credits to see something special....

I saw Volume 1 last night, for the first time. I really enjoyed it, pure entertainment. I saw Volume 2 this afternoon. It was really great, Very entertaining, very well made, great music. I preferred that Volume 2 was far more about plot and character development than it was killing and gore. But, I think that Volume 2 strengthened Volume 1 tremendously, I'm glad that they were released separately, I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much if it was all one movie, despite the fact that I saw them for the first time about 15 hours apart.

I just saw it, even though I had no intention of seeing it after Kill Bill 1. I just thought it was stupid, and not up to par with what I think of in a Tarintino film. I thought it dragged; there's only so much action you can have before it gets monotonous.

Kill Bill 2 was MUCH better. More plot, more dialog, less blood which made the violence that much more effective. When that lady lost her eye... YOW!! I liked it.

Not sure if I would have dug it if it were just one movie.

Well if you really want to know....

In the end its in black and white and you see Uma in the House of Blue Leaves where she kicks alot of ass. Quentin says action and she plucks the guy's eye out and then CUT and she says,"Lets do it again." Like I said nothing special.

Though to last comment, its really unfair to judge it as two different movies, if as one and certain parts cut the movie would've been so much better. But each part had a certain quality, the first part was the bloody action and the second half was the plot and story. Its vintage QT to jump around like that and never know what the storie is fully until the end.

END.
