When he made that video, I don’t think he could walk anymore. He was at it until he died or very close to it.

I usually look around to see if you already posted something I'm about to, we have a lot of the same music in our feeds. I'm really not a fan of social media, but the music section on YouTube is one of the things that gives me hope for the future.Cool, I was just about to share this!
So what's wrong with a Fender Jazz bass again? and if I am not mistaken stock Fender pickups. He is getting so much sounds out of that thing. Beast of a player, under-rated. EDIT -- looks like EMGs. Well a lot folks on TB do not dig EMGs, but they always work and blank canvass if you have the artistry for it.
Moral of the story. Never be afraid of the bridge pickup to be on it's own. A drummer with decent footwork will do the thump for you
