Alas, the fretless has the dot markers between where the frets would be... hmmm. Should email back again and ask for a pic of the fretless neck to be sure it's what I want...

I find the Ric clone on Pitbull to be more than a little tempting at $230.

Funny that the Ric kit is on back order at Pittbull, but very authentically Ric

Carvin also sells a "thruneck"if you want to do a little more customizing than just putting a kit together.I built my avatar bass around a Carvin 5 string thru neck.You can get it many different ways,mine's laminated maple w/two walnut stringers got it used from a TB'er who didn't have time to build it for $150
