KLOSS instruments

I'm very interested in purchasing a replacement neck for my precision build. I want graphite and the KLOSS necks seem to be just what I'm looking for (since Status isn't producing necks at the moment). Has anyone had experience with KLOSS instruments? How was the workmanship? Are you happy with the playability of the neck? Were they easy to deal with? I'd like a little more info on them before I drop $600 on a neck. Any feedback is much appreciated.

I'm a big graphite fan, having owned a Modulus and currently a Status on my Jazz build. TBH, they're your only option at the moment. The reviews are very good. I'm waiting on my Klos neck already after hopping on the initial offering months ago.

I've been curious and i'm looking forward the release of their 5 strings bass, but they also increased quite the price and I'm not a huge fan of the headstock design

I bought mine for travel and was delightfully surprised to find it absolutely flawless/top notch….easily good enough to be my main instrument. The small headstock makes it just a bit shorter & therefore more convenient for travel.

Someone on the KLOS thread asked if their necks were wood wrapped in carbon. I contacted KLOS directly and got this response:

Thanks for reaching out, and I am glad to hear that you are interested in one of our upcoming F-series bass necks! There is actually no wood involved on our necks. It's layers of carbon, and then a foam core, along with a steel truss rod. This helps keep it lightweight!

And we have been so thankful to TalkBass for being such a great community for us! Not everyone is as open-minded, but bass players are always the coolest . (from a fellow bass player)
