Knives!

Civivi is offering some very practical designs, and they are executing them very well. This Lumi has a very slick, crisp action that doesn't require much pressure considering how small the flipping surface is. It is almost invisible! 2.6" 14C28N hollow ground blade, G-10 handles, about $50 US. I like this knife so much that I upgraded the pocket clip. I confess, I am sometimes a slave to fashion!

I carry a pocket knife and use it daily for the same reasons already mentioned - opening boxes & packages, cutting and trimming of things where scissors won’t do, as well as other reasons. There’s also an aesthetic appeal to me from an industrial art perspective. Function + form.

Here’s my Benchmade Mangus, a Marlowe design, now discontinued. This has pure aesthetic appeal to me. I will never carry this knife though.

Looks comfortable for big hands!
I think I'd have trouble manipulating it though, with the angled uneven handle sections. Pretty.
