Know It Alls

Lamer is for you to comment on said lameness.

The idea was from other guys was to date the offender. My reason I wouldn't? She's rank I said, and I'm not going to mix my words.

At least I keep things interesting by posting and contributing something real to TBOT while you, an orange block, just comments on it all.

Clearly you're a man who grabs life by the horns with your internet forums thread starting. I am just an armchair quarterback trying to second guess your magic.

Carry on good sir, I am obviously unable to appreciate the edgy and full life you lead from behind the safety of my reply button.

I was just talking to one just one, and you could see the visible frustration on her face that I did not just agree to what she said.

Tastybasslines, can you not see how you are reacting in the same vein? You did something Unrepresented didn't agree with, which is his prerogative. But instead of saying 'I disagree' and move on, or even 'hmm, perhaps you are right' if you are so inclined (which you aren't obliged to be), you're getting all defensive. Why? Dude's not personally attacking you.

I'm no expert, but I'd say you'd need to develop a thicker skin if you want to get into the legal business. Isn't that mostly debating points with someone who is trying to make the opposite point? I understand it can get quite messy.

Hide behind your witty banter, but when you chime into a thread, insulting someones looks you've never seen, don't expect a friendly response, while you lob bombs from afar without any provocation.

I think I made fun of all of us who are regular posters here --myself included-- when I was making fun of appearances. You're just the one who took it personally.

My issue was with you displaying personal information (photos) about a random person in a public space and then attacking her appearance. Both of those acts cross my moral sense of respect of privacy and general decency. She has no recourse to defend herself, nor should she have to in the first place. Anonymous ranting about classmates is different from posting their face across an internet forum visited by thousands of daily internet users from across the world.

Just from practical considerations I'd start now to make it a habit to be very careful about the way you talk about women and how you treat other people's privacy and personal information if you want a trouble free law career in the US.

You really don't want to be overheard or caught in any non PC behavior or language of any kind, if you think about it for a few seconds. I'm not judging you or making a personal comment, it just occurred to me how raising the ire of an ambitious lawyer or lawyer to be might not be worth the effort.

Brought it back around. Bravo.

Unrepresented and I don't usually see eye to rye on this forum, but I'm with him here.

Good luck in the legal field.
