Knowing [spoiler warning]

I'm not surprised to see all of these opinions! The movie IMO was ruined in the ending. The overall concept was good, even though rather unrealistic.

I seemed to have missed that there were multiple ships in the ending? I don't know, somehow I didn't catch that. Maybe it was my lack of interest at that point.

I'm a little confused as to how the Matrix came into this, but hey...

Yeah, rather than Hollywood taking movies that were great the first time around and turning them to utter crap, they need to take those horrible ones (and not, like, the cult-ish B movies) and try and make them better.

But then again, I guess that peoples' opinions of movies will always be subjective...

Makes sense. But I suppose if a movie was terrible in the first place, they wouldn't really look at it twice to consider making a remake. That being said, remakes of good movies shouldn't be made either unless they're done extremely well to a movie from the 1930s where technology was not advanced enough yet to convey the story as best as possible. But even so, once a movie is made, I don't think it should be remade to take more of our money.

AS for knowing. Nick Cage is in that right? Not spoiling crap for me, I wasn't planning on wasting the time.
