Korean Lakland HB30 Bass

Do they makes these in Indonesia now? I think they did indeed make them at Korea at one point but I thought they were made in China now. They aren't super transparent about these basses. I think the serial number is inside. Check inside the control panel in the back. I think the Korean ones had the serial number on the headstock in the normal Lakland position.

I bought one a couple of years ago from a seller on Reverb. It was listed as "new" but with a minor cosmetic defect. (I never did find anything that looked wrong). I also could not find a serial number so I asked the seller. They stated that Lakland does not put serial numbers on this model. I was concerned about any type of potential warranty issue. They told me they were right down the road from the Lakland factory in Chicago, and if anything came up they would be able to help, as they have a record of the serial number. I believe the number on the side of the headstock is the model.

Man, you weren't kidding, light white on natural sure doesn't make it easy to find, but finally, under intense light I got it. Love the bass. Sounds great, plays great, and it isn't heavy by the end of the night. No more shoulder pain like I have with my Fender Jazz. Thanks for the help!

That's what I was told from the guy I bought it from, but I'm not sure. Hoping to get more info now that I found the serial #.

What is your serial number? Just curious. Mine is HB3023 and I wonder is that: HB30 23 or HB 3023.

Thanks
