Brilliant job so far! Kubicki basses are fantastic sounding and playing instruments. It was a shame to see it so mangled, however you have brought it back to it's true form. Nice work!

So here's an update... Finally pretty much got her finished. I still need to string and set it up but I'm very pleased! Believe it or not once I got the rough stuff off I used Magic Eraser to remove the residue. This stuff is awesome!!! Bass looks real nice. I scratched the finish in a couple places but its a small price to pay for the result I think!... I'll let you know how it sounds and plays...I'll also take some better pics for ya...

Good lord...all my life (well, not all of it of course) I have longed for a Kubicki Factor, and seeing somebody so idiot of having the $$ to buy one and doing this terrible thing we all saw on the initial pictures to it should make everyone very angry.

Thank God for merciful souls as you, who have the courage of stepping out to the front and helping revive a beautiful bass so cruelly treaten by some ignorant with money...thank you.
